Dr. Saptarshi Banerjea

Dr. Saptarshi Banerjea is born in Calcutta in 1988, the fifth generation of perhaps the longest-serving Homoeopathic family in the world. He graduated in Homoeopathy from the West Bengal University of Health Sciences with a record number of Honours in nine medical subjects and first position in all four BHMS examinations. He secured First position in All India M.D. Entrance Examination. He finished with top position in M.D. with specialisation in Materia Medica for which he was awarded a Gold Medal. Dr. Saptarshi teaches Clinical Materia Medica at Bengal Allen Medical Institute, Calcutta; Guest Lecturer of Materia Medica at the Allen College of Homoeopathy, Essex, England. He has conducted multiple Post Graduate programmes and lectured across the globe in the USA, Croatia, Japan, Thailand; Dubai; United Kingdom etc. His insights into prescribing with his magnificent grasp of the nuances of Materia Medica make his lectures wonderfully rewarding and give him the confidence in prescribing especially in cases with pathology. He acts as Clinical Consultant in various rural and slum clinics. In India, he sees around 60 patients a day in his medical centres in Calcutta. Such volume requires the use of extensive knowledge of Clinical & Comparative Materia Medica coupled with ancestral wisdom.
