In a time when the default response to enlarged tonsils in children is often surgical removal, this pocket-sized classic offers an alternative rooted in careful observation and clinical success. Written in clear, accessible language, Dr. J. Compton Burnett presents compelling case studies where homeopathic remedies brought about lasting cures—without the need for surgery.

Far more than a collection of cases, this book challenges the prevailing surgical bias and emphasizes the natural function and importance of tonsils in the human body. Drawing from his extensive clinical experience, Dr. Burnett also highlights the often-overlooked aftereffects of tonsillectomy, offering critical insight for both practitioners and concerned parents.

In a world increasingly saturated with misinformation and quick fixes, this short yet powerful work stands as a truthful guide to one of childhood's most common and anxiety-inducing health concerns.
