Dr Balaram Jana, M.Sc, D.M.S, COSIP, F.W.T(Cal.), P.G.R(Bombay), DOAST(Delhi). He is the Vice-Principal of B.H.Medical College & Hospital and Research fellow at University College of Science in Calcutta. He is also the examiner at the Central Council of Homoeopathic Medicine in West Bengal. Along with this book he has authored many books such as Preventive and Social Medicine, Human Pathology, Essentials of Practice of Medicine, Mother Tinctures and Cellular Therapy, Jaundice, etc.
