Ananda Zaren (1946-2008) homeopathic practitioner, teacher, author, midwife and nurse.She was introduced to homeopathy in the late 1970s, and quickly realized the elegancy and efficacy of this medical art. As one of Vithoulkas's early students she cleaved to his style of classical prescribing.Ananda deftly integrated homeopathy into her midwifery practice, but soon realized that homeopathy would be her main focus.Specializing in homeopathic family medicine, Ananda opened a practice in Santa Barbara, California.She was also much esteemed as a lecturer and author (Core Elements of the Materia Medica of the Mind, Volumes I & II)Ananda Zaren was killed in a car accident on September 20, 2008.
